Scope, role, entitlement and write authority are enforced by the server, never asserted by the client.
Shape
A failure returns status, code, title, detail, instance and a request id. The request id is safe to quote in a support message.
Meaningful statuses
401 means sign in, 403 distinguishes role, plan and verification restrictions, 409 reports a conflict with actionable recovery, 422 reports a validation or business-rule reason, and 429 separates a rate limit from a plan quota.
Never exposed
Stack traces, secrets and internal tenant identifiers are not returned.
